We still don't have a house yet, but he just bought a car. I love that's its a shiny red car, except for one teeny, tiny detail: its got a manual shift. I'm sure this will be fine, but it absolutely insures I'll be signing up for a UK driving course.
A few years ago, I had to drive a right hand steer car with a manual transmission, but never in traffic or on a motorway. So my real driving test will be driving in London with no clutch pops, stalls or gear grinds; that and not taking out a pedestrian or a bus.
