SS# for EU natives

I'm a EU native (portuguese), so when I move to the UK .. does one use it's country of originin SS# or must I apply for a new one in Uk .. anybody knows how this works ? :)

What specifically do you need it for?  They don't really have social security numbers here in the UK.  They have a National Insurance Number which you will need to apply for once in the UK.  Hope that helps!

They do that without a SSN! lol  No, seriously, the UK equivalent of a SSN is the National Insurance Number.
