TV and Blu-ray player
« on: January 31, 2011, 06:01:17 PM »
I just got a notification my shipment has arrived at the port.  :D Yay! It's got all my craft stuff and a ton of fabric and all the stuff that will now make my life complete!

I did some research before I picked what I wanted to bring over now I'm wondering if I did enough. I brought over two TV's and a brand new Blu-ray player that somehow hooks up to the wi-fi which I can stream movies with Lovefilm like I did with Netflix. I had someone tell me that the TV's, being relatively new, can be switched to UK settings in the set-up. I spoke with someone here yesterday and they said that the TV's won't work except with the Blu-Ray player. Then another person said as long as you have a transformer to keep the voltage down the Sky cable box will work. I'm confused now. Will the TV's work with the Sky cable box or not?

I'm interested in this as well because I have a brand new flat screen and I'd hate to leave it behind.

It'd be easier to answer this if you included the make and model number of the TVs.
