Ok so the show is coming together and I enjoyed the second episode more than I did the first.  The torchwood team seems to be coming together again (or so it would seem for the upcoming third episode).

I feel the same way - the second episode was better. My DH, who liked the first episode more than the original series, turned his nose up at the second ep.

So - wow!  Series/season finale was last night...thoughts?

It was very action packed, this one.  Although DH and I thought they could have told this story with fewer episodes - it was kind of dragging a bit towards the second half of the series.  And I miss the aliens!  Isn't that what Torchwood is supposed to be about?  :-\\\\

Oswald Danes was sure an 'interesting' and different sort of character!  ???

Spoiler: show
I was really sad about Esther getting killed - she was my new favourite character!  Plus she never got the chance to get together with Rex, who she clearly loved!   :\\\'(  And I wonder how they're going to spin out the Rex character in the future - now that he has become an immortal like Captain Jack?!  :o

Definitely done American style in season finale by leaving more questions than answers.  But I agree, they could have told the story in less episodes and with more aliens.  I thought they might go further down the alien route when they mentioned Jack's mission in New York, but it was just a tiny mention.

Hopefully they'll continue this story (sometime soon) and make it truer to Who-verse.
