Good dentist in Clapham South or Holborn area?

Hi everyone,

Looking for recommendations in either Clapham or Holborn (where I work) for a good dentist, either NHS or private.  My husband went to a horrible dentist in Clapham South (right across from the tube station - had to have the work redone in the States).

Just time for my yearly check-up/cleaning but want someone I can start building a relationship with and that I can really trust.

I can commiserate when it comes to finding a good dentist in the UK. Had my own share of nightmares.

Thanks!  I will give the one in Farringdon a try.  I just don't trust going anywhere here with a recommendation.  Will post how it goes!

I know the dentist that you are talking about at Clapham South! He was always happy to give me treatment(presumably because he got paid for it)but ignored my son's problems until he had to go for surgery under ga to remove a grand total of four rotted teeth (it would have been more if he hadn't lost some of them as baby teeth before they could fit us in for the surgery). An excellent example of why it doesn't matter if it's free if it sucks!

We've gone private and they are great - it's Trinity Fields over on Trinity Road, so not close to the tube but still worth a trip on a Sat if you can book ahead. They also have a location by Liverpool Street Station.
