Oklahoma girl living in Hertfordshire!

Hello! I'm Jessica, a southern girl, living in Hemel Hempstead, Herts, with my British husband. We've got a precious baby boy who is about to turn 1. I'd love to meet some fellow Americans, especially some girls around my age (I'm 24) as I desperately miss my old group of girlfriends back home.

Hi and welcome to UKY Jessica!   :)  My son's going to be 1 next month, unfortunately we live further north in Yorkshire.  Have you tried NetMums (there's an American Expat group on there) or Baby Centre (again, an American Expat group on there) to find local Mums?  Alternatively you may want to make a post in the Meeting and Events section to drum up interest.

I'm not across the pond as of yet, but nice to see familiar places represented...presently in (and from) Ohio and lived in Broken Arrow/Tulsa, OK for a year in 04!

you weren't too far from me!! I lived in McAlester most of my life...until I jumped the pond....
