Lancaster Uni, are you attending?
« on: August 18, 2010, 02:30:56 PM »
I ask because I briefly ran into an American at immigration today in Manchester, who had just landed to attend Lancaster University.  It would be a very small world if they are a UKYer so thought I would check and see.  :-)

Lancaster is a pretty decent uni   :) - at least for business and social work, AFAIK.

I've been doing a PhD at Lancaster uni for just over 5 years now. (I had a baby during my course and took years off and became part-time.) I plan to finish in March. It's a pretty nice uni town and near the Lake District.

One of my BSc supervisors has moved to Lancaster as a Lecturer in its business school this September. I visited him just a week ago. The environment seems quite good.
2007 - Moved to England for university
2010 - Started working in UK!
