I would love to find a book or cookbook that shows all the weights and measurements of cooking.
Actually I think I wouldn't mind a geek book so I can wrap my head around the metric way.
Has anyone seen an actual cookbook that does both and explains it?
This is my husband's job in our house!

(plus he gets to make endless jokes at me & my expense about my old timey ways - pints, quarts, bushels, pecks, hogsheads...)
But he was unduly impressed with my memorisation abilities when we were making Thanksgiving dinner, and the recipe called for 1 1/2 sticks of butter...and I quickly rattled off...4 sticks of butter is 454 grams, so 1 stick of butter is 113.5 grams - making 1 1/2 sticks approx 170 grams. If you want two sticks of butter, use the 250 g block of butter but lop a little bit off the end!
