Ooooh, if anyone knows anywhere you can do the opposite, UK mags in the US, I'd love to know.  I keep hoping I'll find a newstand that has the UK versions with the little freebies attached  ;)

My Barnes & Noble has UK and Australian magazines, but not always with the little freebies attached.

Yeah, I used to buy British magazines from Barnes and Noble all the time (also there was a small magazine/poster store down the road from where I lived that carried a load of British magazines). Only problem was, they were really expensive in the US because they had to import them... it was something like $7+ per magazine.

Our Barnes & Noble has them, but never the little giveaways. They are ridiculously expensive though, I'd agree with that.  We used to have a cool little newstand shop that had loads of different imported mags, but it's gone now.

You can get British magazines in various newstands in Harvard Square but don't recall ever seeing the attached freebies (things you don't really want but just gotta have!  ;)) Too expensive for more than an occasional treat. I keep looking for The Times (for the puzzles actually) but hardly ever find that.  :(

When we lived in the US, my mother would buy paperback books of Times and Telegraph puzzles. A couple of those would see her through a year!

Do they have the Polygon puzzles? (they give you so many letters in a grid and you have to make as many words out of them as you can, basically)

Oh, sorry! I thought you meant the crosswords. I don't know about polygons, but it might be worth having a look around online.
