It is customary to introduce yourself before asking such a favour....

You can't do complex applications in person anyway.  What is complex about it? If you give me some idea I can categorically say if you need to apply by post.

thank you 3 times!!!! I have read yr previous post 'Should I apply in person or by post'.
Got it now. So as I understand I can send my application only with the results of the UK sitizenship test, right? sh*t and my exam is only in a week.
I've been in the UK for 5 years previously, overstayed my visitor's visa, had a baby... Then I was refused 4 times on different visas, mostly students. Then I got married, had to get a solicitor to get my child here... and I just had another baby with my new husband... No it's great, by post is cheaper... But then my docs should be ready right now... I haven't even looked yet.

Hi,

Letter from employer for Business trips, needs to specify the description of each of the trip or is it fine to specify the list of trips with dates only? Please suggest?

Is the following format is fine?

===============
This is to confirm that xxx is with our organization from this date to this date on work permit. As part of his professional duties, he made following business trips to country X to support our software applications in our offhsore center.

S.No, Date Left UK, Date Returned UK, Description
1. 11/12/2005,12/01/2008, Give Training to offshore employees
2. XXXXX,XXXX, XXXXX

Please contact me if you need any information
======================

Many Thanks,

Hi Meggles,

Thanks for your post. My name is Ram , Came to UK in Sep- 2004 on WP and planning to apply for ILR in AUGUST 2009 at Birmingham PEO. I have total absence around 350 days and in that 250 days are business related and 100 days are paid holidays (annual leaves). I can get letter from my company saying that those 250 days are business related visit.  In your post you have mentioned that if someone has 200 personal days absence then it ILR application should be done via postal. Could you please clarify 200 personal days means the days of absence which are of Holidays. I also read that the weekends and bank holidays would be deducted from days of absence. Please let me know your comments.

Regards
Ram

Hello,

My name is Rahul and I am trying to apply for ILR in Jan 2010.

Below is my UK living history.

First came to UK on 31-01-2005
Holiday in India – from 24-12-2005 to 15-01-2006 (21 days)
Return to UK on 16 – 01-2006 to resume work
Business visit to India – 24-10-2006 to 01-05-2007 (189 days training in India offices. In this period I was working for the same company and I was on Indian payroll)
Work permit change and back to UK to work for the same client in the UK – 02-05-2007
Tier1 Approval – Since 03-07-2008
Holiday in India - 11-10-2008 to 02-11-2008 (20 days)

My holidays will not cross 60 days in last 5 years; my only worry is 189 days continuous training in India office; I can get letter from employer about the same. Can I apply at birmingham office?

Regards,
Rahul.

Thanks and Regards,
Rahul.

Hi Rahul,

Did you manage to get your ILR? I have a similar gap of 150 days in which I was on India payroll.

Regards.
