Notorized Copy of Passport
« on: January 25, 2011, 01:50:31 AM »
I was just wondering if my husband's photocopy of his passport had to be notarized by a notary in the UK or if it could be notarized in the US since he's here and we just got married on Saturday. I filled out my application and my biometrics appointment is Thursday morning and I was hoping to send in all my evidence on Thursday afternoon...

It shouldn't matter. (Though if it does I want to know bc it's what we've done!)

Also, I would imagine several others who lived here with their spouse before going over are have done the same thing.  ;)

For US Based applications a US Public Notary is fine.
