Question about online visa application for spouse.
« on: January 27, 2011, 11:08:18 PM »
On the part 3, CONTACT DETAILS

It says - Please provide details of your full address and postal code.  This must be the address at which you live rather then your family home.

So am I'm suppose to put in my current address I am living in now with my family in USA and not my husband address in UK?
My husband live in UK and I am planning to move to UK once my visa is approved.

HELP!
=)

Yes, your current address.

They need to know where to send your visa.  ;)

HELP!

I just went to the WORLD BRIDGE site and read the part on how to apply.

Please print all the pages of the visa application form. You should print your completed visa application form on good quality paper and ensure that the information does extend beyond the margins on the paper.

Please make sure the bar code appears on the final page of your printed visa application form and remember to sign it.

So I am not using A4 size paper.
The paper I printed and sign is 1 page with all the declaration stuff - I hereby apply for....
As for the information does extend beyond margins on paper with bar code, I have two sheets for that because the barcode couldn't fit into the 1 sheet of paper.

What do I do?
Can I go back to the visa online application website to print out my application form on a A4 paper?

O yea as for the Priority service, can it be purchase a few days after I done the biometric or it must be done on the same day?

Think about it this way:

Where do they use A4 size paper? The UK.

Where are you? The US -- what size paper does the US normally use? 8 1/2" x 11".

Paper size is NOT AN ISSUE.

Thanks for clearing up the paper issue.

I am waiting for a few more documents in the mail from my husband.

I was wondering for the settlement Priority service, can it be purchase a few days after I done the biometric or it must be done on the same day?

The Settlement Priority Service needs to be purchased ON THE DAY you're sending your documents to the Consulate. It cannot be purchased before. This is all covered on the instructions for the Service. You should read through them very carefully.

Also, once you have your biometrics appointment you only have 14 days to get your stuff to the Consulate for processing which is why we recommend that you not apply until you have all your documents together. Because if you go over that 14 day mark waiting for mail then you have to reapply & pay all over again.

I do have most of the documents needed.
Though because I had to apply for the passport.
Waited for 2 few week to get it back and by then my husband got a new bank statement = updated one.
So he send it to me in the mail.
So I was thinking after I get the biometrics, I can wait till I get the bank statements and then purchase the settlement priority service on the day I am going to send it out but of course within 14 days.
I just wanted to know I can purchase the settlement on a different day then the biometric and so I know it's ok.

I read the part you say it need to be purchased on the same day I send it out.  Does it mean I need to express the envelope or next day and so it's consider the same day as the day I purchased the priority or it just means I just need to drop it off at the UPS.

Sorry I am asking in such a way, my mind is just trying to connect the dots :-[

Most people like to overnight/express it so it arrives quickly. Standard service is fine if you're not in a hurry.

The service needs to be purchsed on the same day you physically take the package to the place where you're going to send it off from.
