Customs Form

Hi guys,

I'm shipping 7 large boxes USA to UK and would welcome any advice anyone can offer. Can anyone tell me whether a separate UK Customs Form C3 needs to be attached to each box and, if so, do I need to attach a detailed inventory list to the back of each C3 plus a copy of my passport to each box?

That's what I did, along with stickers everywhere saying "C3 customs form enclosed". FedEx ignored it anyway, tried to bill me customs fees and it took them three months to sort out with HM Customs...

Thanks so much for clarifying, Andy. Truly appreciate it.   Unfortunately, the company I'm using sub-contract to FedEx, so I'll prime myself just in case they screw things up with me too. 

Yeah, be aware of FedEx.

I moved the beginning of November last year, and I'm STILL sorting out my situation with FedEx and customs.  Fingers crossed, it will work out; however, they're taking their time with my "case" and in the meantime, keep sending me bills.

Keep copies of all paperwork. If/when FedEx sends you a bill call them and explain and then they will likely want a fax of the paperwork. After that they chase HM Customs to get their money back.
