Hi Guys!

Been told to come on over here and introduce myself :)

I got married in October and am currently waiting to hear back from my settlement visa. My lovely husband is in Leicester which is where I plan to settle. I've been living there on and off for the last three years and he's been visiting me here in the ol' Southwest when he can. The time apart is insanely difficult, but hopefully this is the home stretch!

Guess that's it for now :)

What part of AZ are you from? I'm from Peoria. Right now I'm missing the weather although my mom tells me it's been pretty cold.

Hello and welcome.  :) I lived in Tucson until I met DH and moved over. What part of AZ are you from?

Thanks guys! Really happy to have found this great community :)

I'm from Tucson! Love it here, although for the last few days it's been warmer in England than in Tucson! (frozen pipes and no heat -- yikes!).

I know what you mean about the weather though -- it's tough to go from 360 days of sunshine to no sunshine at all!

21 Feb 12 - Moved to the UK!
01 May 13 - Passed the LitUK test :D
19 Mar 14 - Applied for ILR via checking service
29 Mar 14: Rec'd biometrics letter (dated 27 Mar) and completed biometrics same day
11 Jul 14: ILR approved
14 Jul 14: BRP and approval letter received
2 Dec 14 - Eligible to apply for citizenship
