We're moving back to the U.S. (in 8 days!!) and selling our car. As you'll see, it's rather old, and we admit it's a bit loud (but passes MOT every time, go figure). But it has served us well for weekend jaunts, big shops, and road trips (Cornwall, Lake District, Peak District, etc.), even with our bikes (bike rack included if you want!). We live in Cambridge and don't use it (or need it) to commute, and I think it's been perfect for occasional driving -- inexpensive, low insurance cost, automatic transmission, and tape deck, the latter of which means you can get great tapes of 80s bands at charity shops.
