Exactly. I spend hours every day on the phone with my Mancunian DF, and I find myself picking up his mannerisms, too. I haven't actually picked up the accent yet, but very much the inflections.

I've always had a very malleable accent; I tend to pick up anything I'm around enough. So I've a feeling once I get there, it won't be long. I hope I don't, though. I like that I sound different.

lol yeah tend to do that too, i wouldnt mind picking up the accent i like it i just know it wont be as thick which is alright with me
