I LOVE Icelands!  I wish I had a bigger freezer.  There are very few times I haven't been quite happy with any of their frozen items.  Most of it is really good stuff and really cheap too.

When I first moved here, I was eating food from Iceland and I put on weight. I do not gain weight easily, not even when I eat processed food/junk food.

I stopped shopping at Iceland and the weight came off.

I think their food has a lot of empty calories.

We only have a Lidl near us.  I'll second the muller-corner type yoghurts and also their Jaffa Cakes - much nicer than the original ones!

We have an Aldi literally 5 minutes away, so I have lots of go-to items due to their cheapness.

Produce is pretty good, though DH rates their celery as 'disgusting'.  We buy bananas in there every week without fail and most other things are good, though be careful as sometimes the oranges/clementines go off really quickly.  The potted and cut herbs I've bought from there have actually been really good.

Cheese & deli meats are yummy, regularly buy things like salami or sliced chorizo.  It's German-style so not overly authentic, but still nice.

Chocolate is fab.

Knock-off booze is all nice - mock Magners, mock Bailey's, mock Pimms are all things we've tried and DH likes their beer.

One thing I remember NOT liking are their tortilla chips - quite flavorless.  And the diet cloudy lemonade had a very chemical taste (normal was fine).

Things like dishwasher tablets and nappies are all good too :).
