I'm a 28yr old chica (half mexican/half white) American girl in Florida w/ my 2 kids. A 9yr old son and an almost 1yr old daughter. My hubby is in Glasgow. We got married here in July 2010...our daughter was born here May 11th 2010. But yeah...here's the timeline.

Projected timeline given: 12 weeks. I didn't find out about priority until after I sent my package, but I wouldn't have used it anyway.
Date your visa was received: Visa denied Feb 24 2011. 28 days to appeal.
Appealed to UK Border Agency New York. They received appeal March 25th 2011. I was told 10 working days to either uphold or overturn prior decision. April 8th 2011 I received word that Visa would be granted! Awaiting documents being sent back...
Soooo... looks like we'll be moving to Glasgow May 5th! I've stayed there before for like 6 months and totally love it. My son is excited and has been with me on all visits. I've loved what I've read so far, can anyone point me to where I ask Q's about Visa related stuff? once again...HELLO!!!
