Thought I'd put best and worst finds, just to be unbiased :)

Best finds:
Haggis, red/black pudding
decently priced/tasting wine
smoked salmon
bacon and brie sandwiches
IRN BRU!!!!!111one
Yorkshire pudding
ostrich burgers
Cornish pasties (and any other pastry dish really)
NHS
salad cream
Parma Ham
Clothes that are not ill-fitting

Worst finds:
European cars (discounting German/Italian - rest are almost as bad as American cars)
council tax
petrol prices
TV "license"
price of beer
English mustard
MOT
toast racks (come on, really?  WHAT'S THE POINT!?)

Yummy drinks like Magners cider's (LOVE the pear!) and the assorted wine's that are really nice at a really good price! (i.e. I've been digging the smooth taste of "High Tide" Chardonnay) as well as Strongbow (someone else mentioned mixing ciders with beer, which I'm a huge fan of too! LOVE Snake Bites!)

I was SOOOOO excited when I found http://www.last.fm/music. I used to be a big Pandora junkie (I use my laptop as a radio a lot!) and Pandora isn't contracted here, so I haven't been able to access it. But this new site has been just as awesome for me! So hopefully you guys can benefit too!

Also love:
Cheese! Def. not the same in America! :)
Oatcakes
Pims
Bacon (not a huge fan of American crunchy bacon)
the assorted food pies they have (like steak pies and such)

I'll be moving soonish in early May, great thread! Helps me to look forward to many things.  ;D Keep 'em coming!
We met in Tokyo through friends when we both lived in Japan.

Last year we moved to Thailand, got our first apartment together, got jobs with the same employer (!), didn't end up killing each other, got married, and decided to move to the UK to settle down.

London, here we come!
