To make a long story short, my boyfriend and I are both Americans living in the US. We are planning to get married in the next year or so and after he finishes his PhD we're hoping to move to Australia. We'll both be in our early 30's at time of said move, and have both studied and traveled in different parts of the world, so have a fair idea of the leap we would be taking. I already have my master's degree in early years and have been working for a few years in teaching/administration, and by the time we move he will have his PhD. Also, his mother is Australian, so he has family there and since it seems Australia isn't quite so difficult to get into (as the UK), we think it's a realistic plan. Problem: For some strange reason, I've had trouble finding very helpful websites about expat life there. While searching, I came across this site and hoped that maybe someone could help me.
Does anyone out there know of any websites like this for Australia?
