London on my mind

Hi all!

I'll be finding out this week if my ad agency will permanently transfer me to our London office. I'm incredibly excited about this opportunity. Ever since my first visit to the UK in 1992 I've sworn that I'll live there at some point in my life. Fingers crossed that point is now.

I've been doing a ton of research online trying to get a sense of what I need to accomplish for the big move and what life will actually be like once i get there. I know I'll run into that inevitable roadblock when trying to get information so here I am. The forums have already been an incredible resource and now I can actually contribute.

I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone here and hope that as my journey progresses I can turn to the forums to help me through some of the more confusing aspects and maybe even connect with a few to show me the ropes once I arrive.
