iPhone saved my sanity

With my I-phone, I introduced my friends this weekend (who are sans I-phone) to the crack that is Chuzzle. 

I'm a bit addicted to We Rule and Titanwars. Its basically Farmville and Mafia Wars from Facebook but with a different skin. They are great to have for when I'm feeding the girls at 3am and need something to keep me from falling asleep with baby in my arms.

So I'm thinking about getting an Iphone 4 (now that I've talked myself out of getting an Ipad, to my partners delight). Just wondering though, if Iphone doesn't support flash vids, how do you watch online videos like on youtube? I have a Nokia 5230 which is great and allows me to go online but it just doesn't have that cool factor ya know  Also, can I use my UK Iphone in the US during visits?

There's a special youtube app that comes up when you click on a you tube video.

Yes.

Though you may want to hold off til September if you can, when the iPhone 5 is likely to come out. My iPhone 3G is getting r-e-a-l-l-y slow on some apps now due to its limited memory (1/4 the memory of the iPhone 4!), but I want to hold off for the new one if I can.

I used my iPhone for work in the US and when I came here I cried and sold it and used my husbands old clunker (it did the job) but then I finally got the iPhone 4 and everything is right in the world once again.

My can't live without Apps:

GPS!  That thing gets me EVERYWHERE!!  Its what I depend on the most, especially with all these side streets that lead nowhere

Skype - if you don't have a subscription, then the only "calls" that are free are when you connect to another Skype user when they are logged on.  If you want to be able to make calls internationally, my subscription costs me $14 a month and I can call ... 20? 40? different countries.  I can call any phone in the US and I can call landlines in the UK.  I also have a Skype to go number so family and friends can dial a NY based number that rings me through skype.

Facebook. Nuff Said

WhatsApp?  This allows me to text friends and family directly from my phone for no cost (My phone uses the internet to connect.  So I can text friends from the states at any time.  This works with iPhone, Android, Nokia and Blackberry.  I can also send pictures and video.  They have to have the application as well.

I love Shazam.
And Things. I LOVE Things.
I use the GPS a lot too, and the camera.
Words with Friends is good.
Epicurious.
A local movies checker.
The Good Pub Guide.
A local petrol station finder has been quite useful.
