Vodafone advert is causing lag?

Hi!  I was just wondering if there is anything I can do to block specific adverts?  Normally I don't have a problem with them, but the Vodafone one that sometimes appears at the right side causes my browsers to get sticky and lag whenever it turns up.  Then I get the spinny rainbow wheel and have to go to a different page to get away and make it stop!

It's fine when it's another advert, but for some reason the Vodafone one doesn't like me! 

Anyone else having this problem? 

I have issues with various websites' ads now and then, if I empty my browser cache and restart the browser, it usually fixes it. Maybe this will help?

Ok thanks!  Just cleared everything out, so hopefully that fixes it!
