MN to UK
« on: June 08, 2011, 07:51:20 AM »
Hey All,

First I would like to say thank you to all that contribute to this board. Some of these links have been of great help in the process of moving to England. My wife and I will be moving to Lancaster in October as she will be doing an MBA. We live in Minnesota now and have always wanted to live abroad. We have lived in Minnesota, Arizona, Colorado and Pennsylvania. So different cultures in the US have been a good intro to slight changes. Nothing like a new country though. As it stands right now she will attend Lancaster University and I will commute to my job in the US. I don't know how long I'll be able to take that commute but it's worth trying. I work as an airline pilot in the US so aside from the departure taxes I should be able to move freely between both countries. I look forward to the learning curve that comes with living in a new country and after reading for awhile just wanted to introduce myself.

You should get an award for that one...I complain about my 45 minute bus ride...

I just hope that more people will ignore the fatalism of the argument that we are beyond repair. We are not beyond repair. We are never beyond repair. - AOC
