Okay, so the title is pretty dull, I apologise for that, but it was the most best title I could think of and explained things well.
I am a UK Citizen (need to put my US Citizenship papers in soon) and my husband is a US Citizen. We are looking towards a move over to the UK in abut 3 years time. I joined on the recommendation of people over at the Britishexpats.com forum who said you guys would be able to help a bit more in regards to all the paperwork we'll need to gather for a spousal visa for my husband when the time comes (I will have dual citizenship, as will our son and any future children).
A little about me and my spouse. We are currently residing in sunny Southern California out in the I.E. My hubby is originally from Utah and we lived there for a year before relocating to SoCal. We have a 10 month old and since having him we have realised more and more that we want to be over in the UK with my family, so that he will have kids his age to play with (my brother has a 3 month old) and family living close. (My husbands siblings are all divorced or not interested in having kids).
We were over in the UK for Christmas last year and had such a wonderful time. We also went over in May for a fleeting visit to meet our new nephew and knew for certain that we wanted to make the move. So now we are saving and starting to make preliminary plans. We have a pet dog and a pet bird, Hahn's (Mini-)Macaw to move over with us as well, so we know this is not going to be an easy move, any advice will be much welcome.
