4th of July....
« on: July 02, 2011, 07:49:45 PM »
Don't know if anyone has gone to RAF Feltwell for the 4th of July before.. But I went last year, and am going this year, I got an email from them saying:

Good morning Sean,

Glad you enjoyed last year’s event.

The 4th July celebration is scheduled again this year :

12 noon – midnight, Monday 4th July.

Hope you enjoy it again.

Best regards

When I went last year, we had some BBQ, and the beef came out of boxes that said USDA beef, and had wonder bread, fritos, Mt. Dew, Root Beer... etc...

Also had a car show, American cars!

Hooray!  I saw it online and it said open to the public, but I wasn't sure that meant open.  Glad you have confirmed it.

Any ideas about parking?

We did.  Man, getting in they had about 60 people to direct traffic; going out two.  HA!

I had deep fried Oreos for the first time.  I am vaguely ashamed, but they were tasty.  Also, brisket and good corn on the cob and funnel cake.   :D
