Another Reece's PB Cup sighting

I know that these are appearing more and more around the country here, but I found some at a shop in Castle Carey (Somerset). The shop is called The Pantry by the Pond, my hubby's cousin works there and when I saw them I was quite excited, but had to explain what they were to her!  They also had some Watkins products as well, I only saw the Mushroom Ketchup in the window display but she said they had other things as well.  I wasn't able to go into the shop because I had the dog with me, but it looked like they might have had some other American brands.

that reminds me.. i still need to try their new white chocolate variety.  

To be honest, when i'm in the UK, i don't crave many american products.  At least nowhere near as much as I want UK items while in the states.  I stock up on Lilt and McVities from my local british grocer.  Shame they don't carry Apple Tango.. I've been dying for one the past few weeks

I think it's odd about peanut butter here and how people aren't keen on it. I handed out a "goody bag" of Halloween treats to people I knew/worked with here last year and one comment back I got was about the Reece's...couldn't even fathom the combination of chocolate and peanut butter!

 I think chocolate and pb is one of the BEST combos.  I'm not big on sweets, so I like that the salt in the peanuts cuts the richness of the chocolate.  Mmmmmm....  

They don't know what they're missing!

I love peanut butter and chocolate, picked up some reeces pieces last night at lakesides sweets from heaven last night and got a mountain dew and glenn got a code red as well...we always stop in there when we are at lakeside.

Makes note to self "...Lakeside..."

I do miss living near that shop in lakeside!!!

I've seen Reese's PB in the Costco near Watford.

reeses pb cups spotted in ASDA in the southeast also nutrageous..what an exciting day it was for me when i found those...i wonder if we could convert the english to becoming peanut butter fans if we all started baking peanut butter cookies..yummy yummy...i havent had those in a long time...anyone have a good recipe>??can you IM it to me...

Hi, Blondshania!  Here's the best tasting and easiest PB cookie recipe I've ever tried.  After these babies and a cold glass of milk, tell me what you think.

1 cup any style peanut butter
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix PB and sugar.  Add egg and vanilla.  Shape into 1 inch balls.  Flatten balls a bit with a fork on an ungreased cookie sheet.  Bake for 12 to 15 minutes.  Yields about 3 dozen cookies if you don't keep eating the dough.

Whenever I get that look, I ask if the person has ever tried it.  I'm turning my nephew's FIL into a heathen American.  First, Fluffernutters, then dunking Toll House cookies.   [smiley=evil.gif]WAHAHAHAH!

OHHHHH now that is one thing I miss buying pilsbery chocolate cookie dough and eating it raw with a spoon, I went thru a lot of them when I was pregnant.
