UK bound... hopefully!
« on: July 27, 2011, 07:33:05 AM »
Hi everyone,

My husband stumbled across this site last weekend while looking for help with the VAF4a. And am I glad he did! Even if reading some threads actually added to my stress levels at first (there was a lot mentioned in the forum that I didn't know we needed), I'm feeling much better knowing that help's out there.

Now, my husband (UK) and I (US) are living in Moscow at the moment (met here, got married here), so we have the added complication of needing notarized translations of several things.

But I'm determined to follow my husband home - he's off to start a Master's program in September - and I hope to be off by the end of October.

You'll be hearing from me in the visa forum - I've got plenty of questions!

Cara

My husband hates this forum, because I get rattled reading it. But if it weren't for UK Yankee, I'd have made ALL kinds of stupid mistakes. It's getting easier all the time to make stupid immigration mistakes (and I'm talented).

Welcome to the forum!

Cara welcome to UKY.

This forum is a massive world of knowledge - just always use the advanced search to check things out and when in doubt - POST!

I look forward to "seeing" you around.
