I thought that was so funny, especially the "meeting your mother" one... but I am glad they balanced it out by having a "5 dates no guy wants to go on" article too.

Ha - hiking/rambling was one of the first things DH had me out doing with him.  And we have loved travelling together from the very start -- we really saw that as a sort of relationship tester, because we both love travelling & if we hadn't got along well while doing it we probably wouldn't have stayed together.

I would much rather agree on doing something that we both enjoy and where we can have fun rather than have a guy take me somewhere that he thinks I will like because all women like them.

Those are two things we love doing together too! And the hiking part is not something I  would ever have suggested - it definitely came from him!

I like almost all of these date ideas. If all of these are "bad", what's left? Dinner and a romantic comedy? zzzzzz snooze fest! :P

We've been travelling and hiking.  It is a lot of fun, but not exactly romantic. Blisters, sweating, chafing, bugs, and smells.  ;)  I always enjoy it looking back on the hike, but during there are usually points where I regret.

The first day we spent together on our first face to face meet up was a trip to the Eastern State Penitentiary in Philadelphia followed by a Phillies baseball game!

Out favourite dates are to theme parks - we're both a bit obsessed! And we met while travelling so love to go together!
