UK bound again!
« on: July 27, 2011, 09:01:28 PM »
Hi to all-

This is a bit of a reintroduction - My hubby and I moved to the UK for a year in 2005 and loved it.  We went back to California as it was a one-year leave from work, and it finally looks like we may be coming back!  I have informally accepted an offer from a London startup, and we are working out the final immigration issues. I hope to be in London at least part time starting in September if all goes well.

I still remember my last UK Yankee event in London - a tea with some of the girls - I think we ate at The Wolseley, one of my favorite places.  I still remember giving away my lovely last bags of Nestles chocolate chips to some lucky person :-).

I can't wait to come back and be part of the community again - and maybe meet some of you.

I don't know what I would have done without UK Yankee then and now - it's like a big warm hug in a cold world when you're trying to figure all this stuff out.

Aline

Hi and welcome back.  Immigration has changed a lot since 05.  Good luck.  :)
