Hi all,

I won't be moving to the UK for another 2 years yet, but anticipation is half the fun, right? I'm living in San Diego for now, will be moving to Essex area, and may or may not have a teenager tucked under my arm (full wrestling hold).

(And "Hi!" to familiar faces, I'm anne54 on another site, but like "Clementine" better ... my mom used to sing it to me.)

I've been enjoying reading the posts, feisty group here, I've laughed out loud more than once!

Welcome!  I'm sure you will find this site a great way to prepare for your trip.  It wasn't this strong when I first made the move, and had to figure a LOT out by trail and error.  Everyone here is a fountain of knowledge though, just ask and replies shall pour forth!

Good luck...with the move and the half-nelson on the teenager...

Welcome Anne!  My husband and I live in the Essex area, Ilford to be precise.  Whereabouts in Essex will you be.  Best of luck restling that teenager!  Mine turns 17 today!  Ack!
