Back to School!
« on: September 05, 2011, 01:22:41 PM »
It's that time of year again!  How's it going for you?  I hope all of the UKY children get off to a good start on the new year.  :)

My youngest just started secondary school on Friday.  :o  So far she's liking it.  It feels strange to me not to be walking to the school gates and talking to the other parents though.

Yeah! Back to school! My son went off to Year 1 today, he was so excited this morning he was unable to eat breakfast! He was happy when I left, and am guessing that he will be very happy when I pick him up!

After I dropped him off I went off to playgroup with the other Mummies of littler ones from his school, and we had a great time catching up on our summer holidays! My 18 month old and I are having a lovely day together!! She is starting nursery in a few days, so FINALLY I might have a little bit of time to myself soon!!!

Secondary school...that seems a lifetime away, but probably isn't!!

I hope everybody's day was great today!

Our girls went back today (Year 6 and Year 3).  By the time we got to school we were soaked!  I hope it stops raining/blowing a gale long enough this afternoon for us to get back home.
The house is very quiet, I miss having them around.

Going well so far. At least my older two are at the same school now and I only have one school run to do! my toddler started Montessori school and he has good days where he's happy to go and then bad days where he clings to me.

It's great having this warm weather now - won't seem like too long till half term now.
