Massagers
« on: April 26, 2012, 04:03:25 PM »
Okay, I am totally not asking about "sensual massagers"/vibrators, but I am looking for a really good electric muscle knot massager.  I have huge myofascial trigger points all over my back, neck, and other joints.  When I was in the States, I had this huge vibrator thing that looked a bit like Johnny-Five.  It really did wonders on getting the knots out.  I couldn't bring it over, of course, and I hadn't really looked to replacing it until now.

My neck has gotten to the point where I am in constant pain with constant cracking noises and low grade tension headaches.  I can feel the knot which is right to the left of my spine.  Mr O can sometimes get it out, but never fully.  This is one of my biggest knots, and it's on my neck!  I want to get a massager to try to get it and my other knots out, but I don't want to waste money on poorly made/ineffective ones.  Anyone buy one here that they can recommend?

I'd contact a local massage therapist to see what products they advise:

Alternately, maybe Which? magazine has done the research for you?

Also, what about going to your GP for some advice and to see what options may be available?

Hope you find something that works.  :)
