Missing You
« on: October 24, 2011, 08:34:49 PM »
I had a look at UKY today and realised I really miss you.
DH joined me in the US in June and after four lean months is now buying airplane parts for Boeing.  Now I'm 300 miles from my family instead of 5000.  But we miss England and refer to it as "back home" in conversation.  Funny that, I did the opposite when in UK.  I guess I'll never be completely happy wishing I could live in both places.  Where is that winning lottery ticket?!?  :)  I hope your autumn is safe & warm and all is well.   [smiley=heart.gif]

Glad you popped in to say hello. I think you are right unless any of win millions we will always be missing 'one of our homes'.

Hello! :) You'll have to pop in and visit even though you are in the States.  :)

I think we are all looking for that winning lottery ticket so we can bounce back and forth at will. I still think of the States as 'back home' even though I am settled in and content here. Funny how I can't wait to 'get home' for a visit, but when I am there I miss 'home/my bed at home/tv at home etc.  ;D
