We stayed in as well, and I made a bunch of snacky food and chocolate fondue. It was wonderful.

Happy New year everyone here's hoping that 2012 is better for us than 2011 and for those of you who are also in this position wishing you a prosperous and united new year.

For once Hubby and I went out only down to our sons but it was a change then came back home to see in the New year nice fireworks on telly.

Happy New Year everyone! May 2012 be filled with joy, laughter, love and friendship for everyone. 

We usually stay in on New Year's Eve but decided to go out last night. I'm glad we made the decision because we really had a great time with amazing friends.

2011 has pretty much sucked the big one for me, but I'm feeling very hopeful about 2012. I hope that anyone else who has had a bum year can feel a bit of optimism for the new one. 

And, hey, if it doesn't work out, the world is ending in December anyway, right?   

Happy New Year all!! UK Yankee has helped me loads throughout this year, during my time away from my UK boyfriend, getting my student visa, and advice during the rough times of being away from the US.

It has been tremendous blessing and hopefully I can stay on for further years for help in the areas of Tier 2 Work Visa --> Marriage Visa --> Settlement Visa --> Dual citizenship --> Dual Citizenship for children, preferably in that order ;-) Here's to 2012!
