Women's hour on Radio 4 is doing a thing on Watershed Books-not necessarily your favorites but books that have changed the way you look at things or seen you through difficult periods.

Aside from Catcher in the Rye, which I think sees alot of us through adolesence, I'd have to say it was John Irving's The Hotel New Hampshire which I read alot when I was at University and it seemed like my family was falling apart.

The Hours...

made me really think about if I wanted to live out the rest of my life continuing along the path I was on.
