I'm going to request that any further visa related comments be taken back to the threads Pads has started in V&C. Let's leave this one, if there's anything left to be said, to issues regarding the original topic.

Thanks.
When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down ‘happy’. They told me I didn’t understand the assignment, and I told them they didn’t understand life. ~ John Lennon

Has anyone stopped to think that this whole thing could just be a bit too far out there to be completely real?

I would just hate to see really good people get sucked into a situation only to get burned and become jaded. It's happened to me and I really don't want to see it happen to any of you.

If pads DIL & son want it sorted out they need to do it themselves. Or better yet, take the advise of the professional that has offered their services. Because if this situation is even REMOTELY true, that's the only type of assistance that will make a difference.

Sometimes the best help you can give someone is telling them you can't help them.

I am sorry this thread took this turn I just think people were trying to help and it was a geniune question.

But I take your points maybe stuff should have been posted on visa and citizen ship but the original question wasn't for there.

@webby I appreciate what you are saying and I agree that the whole situation is far out but I assure you it is really true and believe me I wish it was not I will pm u the evidence that they applied like I have to transpondia then perhaps peopple will believe me.

Yes my son and daughter in law need to sort it out themselves I was trying to help because my daughter in law was not on line, and my son during his research did not find this site, and when I told him about it he kind of thought it was my thing.

I am not being unfair to anyone here I so appreciate all the help UKyankee have given me over this last six months and I have passed the relevant info on to my family I was trying to help them like any concerned grand mother would, yeah maybe I am too involved my hubby for one thinks so.  But I can't help but care believe me I really wish I could.

Love pads x

Out of interest, did she forward you a copy of the email they sent her to confirm the application was received?

Ah right, that's good at least we know she sent the application in anyway!

It's a bit strange that she hasn't told you/this board the exact reason for refusal though.

It's an awful situation, whichever way you look at it though.

On that note, I'm going to close this thread. There's no point speculating here anymore.
