Should this Concern Us?
« on: February 03, 2012, 09:33:42 PM »
I received this email today and its got me a little worried.

Please be advised that further processing is required on your application and we will make a decision on your case at the earliest opportunity. The estimated processing time for your application has been revised and may now be up to 10 working days from today's date.

Please note UKBA service standards for all applications  are: to complete 90 per cent of visa applications (except settlement categories) in not more than three weeks, 98 per cent in six weeks and 100 per cent in 12 weeks.

You will receive a further e-mail advising you of the outcome of your application in due course. This e-mail will also provide you with details of your return package.

I am assuming this is due to the fact that my daughter is also applying and maybe because this is my second spousal visa??

Should I worry.....or is this kind of normal? Figures its a Friday afternoon so I can worry all weekend. :-\\\\

Don't pull your hair out worrying.
On s'envolera du même quai
Les yeux dans les mêmes reflets,
Pour cette vie et celle d'après
Tu seras mon unique projet.

Je t'aimais, je t'aime, et je t'aimerai.

That actually sounds really similar to the email that they send to advise that they received your documents and that they'll notify you when a decision is made, save for the part about further processing. Chances are, it just means that they need a little more time and that they don't want you panicking and trying to contact them to find out what's going on. It's a don't-call-us-we'll-call-you sort of thing. Hopefully you'll hear back soon and it'll be all good  ;)

So I worked myself up into a total panic last night. Feel better this morning and I am just going to wait and see what happens. A day at a time...and everything is out of my hands anyways so why fret about it.
