Hi from Bristol!

Hi Everyone!

Looking for friends here in the strange land of England.  I moved here three years ago to marry a Bristol Brit and thought I would just absorb myself in the culture and not dwell on the US.  Well it has been 3 years and I still am having a hard time making close friends.  So I am reaching out to any Expats out there that can help this American gal make girlfriends!!!!  I find so many people here nice but reserved.  Anyone out there live near Bristol and want to chat?

Hello, I am currently living Gloucester which is about an hour away. I recently was in Bristol for some shopping and in town I found a sweets shop that sold a few American items. I dont know if you would be interested in it. It is mainly USA candy bars and soda. Altough I did get a box of Fruitloops there. While the prices are high it is to be expected given that they have to import and pay customs for their products. But it was a treat for me just to have them and it made me miss home a bit less.
