Citizenship ?
« on: March 20, 2012, 03:56:30 PM »
Hello all
Quick question, Have my Citizenship application process booked with a checking service on April 5th.  They told me that I won't have to send in my passport, which I was pleased about.
My mom's 60th birthday is in May, and I would like to fly home for this if its allowed.    I didn't make any promises to my dad, as I wasn't sure if I could travel during this application process?  Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you

Yup, you can travel while your citizenship app is processed. The accepted wisdom is that you should wait a few days after submitting it, just to make sure that you're still in the country when the UKBA receives it but after that, you're good to go. :)
