I bought my current one from M&S as I was caught out one day and needed one... It does okay for £5.. The best one I've ever had was from Penneys (Irish Primark) and that cost €2 and worked like a charm until I lost it somewhere
When living in Ireland, rarely used an umbrella since it just rains sideways there constantly. Found a all weather jacket with an adjustable hood sufficed for the most part. Here, I get away with using an umbrella for most of the year without much hassle.
