My Husband Got His Visa!!!!

Well we finally put in our packet and it arrived on the 21st March we were approved without any email notification on 22nd March!!!

My DH recieved his passport today! He flies out tomorrow for an interview in London on Thursday!!! I am so thankful we chose a GREAT solicitor who was helpful from the begiining of hiring him in January. My DH and I have been apart since July 2011, and with two little ones we are eager to be reunited!!

Here is a little overview of our package:

My earnings: £9817 Gross (+ £150 a month from a side business)

Savings: £2000 and his $5000

He did have a letter saying he was short listed for a job and my job is temporary until August 2012. He has a Masters and I have a Degree.

We live with my parents in a 4 bedroom house.

We have 2 kids.

I claim my child benefit but nothing else.

We have a heap of debt. But can afford to pay the minimum payments.

We married in the UK in 2005 whilst he was on a Visitors Visa (which is why we chose to use an experienced and recommended solicitor).

We had a great solicitor that really did dot the i's and cross the t's for us in all aspects. His letter on our behalf covered all areas of the rules and why my DH should be approved. This I believe helped.

July 15th 2005 - I said goodbye to him at Houston.
Dec 18th - 2005 DH comes to UK to see 2 week old daughter!
Oct 17th 2006 I finally arrive in the US with baby.
July 6th 2011 ... I fly back home with kids he is staying 1 year in Texas :(
March 9th 2012: He flew over and got a job (flew back)
MARCH 22nd 2012 VISA Application in
June 12th 2012: Entered UK under Old rules!

Congratulations!  That is fantastic news! Best of luck to your DH in his job interview.  I'm sure you're over the moon.:)

09/08/2011-Glyn leaves for UK
01/30/2012-Biometrics for UK spousal & dependent visas sent out w/ application same day
02/03/2012-Email from UK Consul General application needs further processing will receive decision within 10 working days.
02/09/2012-Request for more payslips and custody papers for daughter.
02/22/2012-Submit the requested documents with prayers.
02/24/2012-UK settlement visas issued :)
03/12/2012-Arrive in MAN UK :)
