First let me say I am a Brit running an engineering company. (I have got in trouble elsewhere on this board for not explaining my background.......
)
I have conducted interviews for a long time, and I have drawn up the following abbreviated questionnaire.As an employer it is about all I want to know, or am entitled to ask.

It is just a suggestion about what anyone seeking employment might need to prepare for.
I haven't weighted any of the questions, but given the information on line these days, I would expect a candidate to have a fair appreciation of what we do prior to being invited for an interview.
I avoid the question "What do you think you can bring to our company."
If I didn't think the candidate had the prospect of being an attribute I would not waste my time on an interview.
Just my take on it. And it has worked for me.
