How to get child's ssn?
« on: May 17, 2012, 04:31:56 AM »
HI all. Following the breakup of my previous marriage, my ex witheld the kids' ssn from me (and my incompetent lawyer didn't help).  I was wondering if you guys know of any way of getting them?

Get in touch with Social Security. They'll tell you what to do. Are you here in the UK?? If you are their online contact form is here http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/acs/fbu/fbu_email_enquiry.html
I had to get in touch with them when I first got here and they replied quickly.

If you're in the States, I would go to the local SS office and talk with them.
