If one is searching for cross border advisers, as well as the excellent Pete Newton and Liz Zitzow who can provide tax advice you may also need a (no commission) planner and an asset manager, because tax advisers are commonly not authorised to give advice on investments, nor on retail products such as the personal pension, either in the UK nor the USA (Pete and Liz may be also quadruply qualified in this manner). There is such a group of top cross border planners at
http://www.crossborderplanning.com/
who are voted in by their peers based on competence, are friendly and don't take commission.
