« on: January 03, 2013, 10:41:38 PM »
PLEASE HELP!!  ::) :\\\'( :\\\'( :\\\'( :\\\'( ??? ??? ??? ???

I have a singer 9960 computerized sewing machine I bought from the US which is 120v/55w/60Hz I have a good transformer but I am worried the Hz difference is going to damage my machine =(

Anyone have any experience with this?

I have been using a US machine in Malaysia, same voltage as the UK, with a transformer, with no apparent problems and plan to keep on using it when we relocate to the UK soon. It is just a basic machine tho' so I am unable to fully answer your question.

I would have thought occasional use, as in not using it 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, would be ok.
