Hi Everyone-

Can anyone recommend a boarding kennel in the Manchester area???  or anyone who does in home boarding?

We've booked to go home for Christmas and am looking to board our 10 year old dog for 3 weeks at Christmas.  We were lucky to have someone house sit her during our last trip and paid them but they can't do it this time.  She's really just happy sitting on her chair all day and since we aren't usually gone for very long is used to having company all day so something cozy would be nice.

We're close to the airport but willing to drive if there's a good place.

Hi, don't know of any kennels in your area, but I've found a lady to dog/house sit through a website called www.trustedhousesitters.com.  You register, state what your looking for and wait for replies.  Prices vary, according to the person.  We are going to Wales in October and decided not to take our elderly dog, she just likes being in her own home and kennels are out of the question!  Couldn't find anyone in our area and then came across this website and have receivrd several replies and now a lady called Mary will be coming down to stay with her.  I believe the sitters need CRB checks and maybe its a gamble, but Mary is a 68 retired widow lady and I don't think she's a con, ;p) !  We live in Devon and Mary lives in  Warrington, so we are paing her train fare and provide food.  She's never been down this way before so its a bit of a holiday for her as well as peace of mind for us!
Good luck in your search!  xx b

I love my lady up here https://www.facebook.com/BettyKisses?ref=ts (North East) but you could contact her to ask if she knows anyone. Or look at this site :http://www.thenortheastdogdirectory.co.uk/ - it might give you some leads to someone in manchester.

FB is a god send even look up Dogs Today Magazine and see adverts
