I was in a supermarket earlier and all the twinkies were gone, but lots of other hostess stuff was still about, including the mini donuts.

Red5, I think there was a pudding pie - chocolate filled- and likewise a vanilla one
I've never gotten food on my underpants!

A different one, I think... this was on North Main in Corona, just before the Norco/Hamner Ave border.  I remember it being just across the road from Wendys, as when I worked at Wendy's in high school, we used to go over there and buy boxes of gingerbread cookies to dip into the Frosties!  :)

Ah! I was thinking of the one just south of the 60 in Pomona. You have the best memory for these details. I had completely forgotten about the outlets.  :)

I had a friend bring me back a box of twinkies from the States. I'd built them up in my mind as looking delicious. God was I disappointed on the first bite. I persevered with another few but had to admit defeat. They weren't an acquired taste, just not for me.

Terribly sad to see such a famous name in trouble though especially for the thousands likely to lose jobs.

I have never had a Twinkie or any of the other products in my life -- but it is sad to see another well known company go down and people lose their jobs.
