Little things that need explanation

Now that the thread has gone to Nandos I have to know is it Mexican or latin american?  I've seen them around but not been sure what they are. 

They are actually supposed to be Portuguese ... although, honestly, it's mostly just the chicken seasoning/flavouring that is 'Portuguese' - the menu is basically just flame-grilled peri-peri chicken with chips and sides like coleslaw, corn on the cob, etc. (1/2 or 1/4 chicken with chips, wings with chips, chicken burger/wrap/pitta bread with chips etc.).
