Electronic device storage at London Embassy area?

I am going to make appointment for my baby to get her passport.
Though when checking the site, it says ---

Mobile phones or any electronic devices, such as Blackberries, iPods, PDAs, key fobs/remotes or anything with a battery or power plug are not allowed within the Embassy.  In addition, please consult this list of Left-Luggage storage facilities (PDF) for possible locations to temporarily store large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages.  There are no storage facilities on Embassy grounds.

I am planning to take the tube to the Embassy.  My husband will have to leave his mobile at home if that's the case but I like to bring at least my digital camera with me since it's the first time my baby is visiting London area and would like to take pictures.  Where did you put your electric device?  Any storage facilities that's not too expensive just to put a few items?

There are two chemist shops (one in each direction along the street that the embassy is on - forget what it's called). Each charges either £3 or £5 to store items. (I think it's per hour, but might just be a one-off fee. Last time I went I paid for 10 minutes of storage time. )

Also, be VERY liberal with what you store there. I went to the embassy without my phone, knowing their policy. I'd forgotten my Kindle was in my bag (fair enough), but even without that, security wanted me to store my security dongle for my bank (the type where you press a button and a security code appears that expires after a minute), and my earbud headphones ( no electricity involved in them at all, especially without any devices to plug them into!).

You may want to stop at the security desk first, have them flag whatever they won't allow, and then head over to store them. Both chemist shops are about 100 feet away from the embassy.

£3-5 is a bit ok, still pricey just for temp storage.  
Would you or anybody know if strollers/pram is allow inside the embassy?
Also, would it be OK to bring formula, baby bottles/hot water/cold water thermo mugs?
Or it wouldn't be allow and I would have to find a place that I can get instant ready made formula?  Thinking about spending a day in the London area and it would be a bit of a headache not having the stuff with me to feed my baby.

pushchairs are fine.  I had one with me both times.  I also took food and drinks in for my girls, so no worries there.

I'm not sure where you're coming from but the British library in Kings Cross has one pound coin lockers that you can use for the day and you get the pound back. During the day, before six I believe, it's open to visitors but after six they require you to have a British library membership card to enter the building. The lockers are big enough to store a full backpack and a coat so if you're only storing some electronics, you should be fine.

My husband is telling me he might just go to the nearest place for storage because he want his thing back after we left the embassy.

When I went to the US Embassy, been there twice, I was able to leave my electronics in the security kiosk.

My husband agreed, you don't have to check your stuff, we travelled as light as we could and put our phones and cameras into a checked box at the security kiosk..

Greenapple, I'm not sure about size limitations. I left a few things which they put in a plastic bag (under the counter, I think?) but I assume they have more storage space if you need to leave a backpack or something larger.

Audley Pharmacy is the one on the one side of the embassy, and claims it's open from 7-7.

Gould Pharmacy is the one on the other side of the embassy, and is open from 8:30-6:30.

That sucks, it was abou two years since I went last, but it was as service they only offered for American citizens. The website says no electronics, but they held them. At that time they did anyway.

Like Equestrianerd stated we were there at the end of July and everyone has to check their electronic items-citizens and non citizens. 
The security check is quite thorough.  I had placed all of our paperwork in a leather folder that I used many years ago when I worked.  In one of the pockets there was a solar powered calculator.  I had totally forgotten that it was there, but security found it and we had to add it to our phones, etc to be stored at the pharmacy.

Yeah, they used to provide it as a service to US citizens, but security seems to have tightened recently.
